They are still a marketplace and are only as safe as the people who are trading on there. See the Eurogamer link and it talks about some dodgy Russian selling stolen keys. Rather use a more established site then save 10p trying out an unknown.

Saving 10p? Mate not sure what you have been checking but its a far bigger saving than 10pence. I've never had a problem with them and saved a good amount of money actually. It's a pretty big site and if they were doing anything illegal I am sure it would have been taken off search engines especially Google and even shut down. They have been operating for quite some time now, I wouldn't write them off.

Oh and here is further assurance: https://www.g2a.co/en/say

ive used em a few times for game time ect,not actually had a game from them tho,but never had a problem with anything

I've bought 3 or 4 games from G2A and never had a problem. They do a guarantee system which seems to give some sort of reassurance

well G2A itself is legit, they just dont tend to check if the keys are stolen or not, always ricky when dealing with company's like that, have a few friends who have had keys they've got off G2A disabled.

Old thread I know but I will also vouch for them being a 'legit' company.
I have purchased 3 steam games 2 for less than 1/2 price through them and received my key within minutes of purchase now and whilst yes they are a market place and we put or trust in the traders they do have a guarantee (that admittedly cost a *little* extra) I would recommend checking the traders stats and only buy from one with a good history

Moderator note: the referral link was previously removed and so that is why the thread was allowed to stay

Poland based auction site, good ratings on Trustpilot but you are dealing with individuals there.

The site is legit, though some of the sellers are not, but I've never had an issue with them at all. The site is like a marketplace, some people on there have purchased the codes with stolen credit cards, others buy keys direct from the publisher and others buy the physical game, then sell the code on the site and disc and case a spare to those that buy physical. A lot of key sites like this are hit and miss depending on who you decide to buy from. I think they have a guarantee you can buy for a quid or so, so if the code doesn't work you'll get it replaced or a refund, I always take it just in case.

CDKeys.com are a site that you deal with directly, I've bought more from there, and never had a problem.
