CEX 2 year guarantee -anyone had to use it?

CEX have a 2yr guarantee now on items. Thinking of getting a tablet. Obviously a 2 year guarantee on a used, officially older than a year anyway own sounds good in theory, but had anyone had to use it for a defective item?

I'm wondering on say a tablet that the likes of Apple and Samsung etc give a 1 year warranty, yet CEX are giving 2 year on used.

What do they do? Do they if after broke give you a direct replacement? Give you what voucher for what trade in is, which is lot less than you bought it at.

Bought a few bits before but normally online, would you have to take back to a store even though bought online?

Thanks

Hi, I have, on a phone that stopped working, if you bought the item less than 6 months ago, they'll give you a voucher for the price you paid for it. If older, I think you get a voucher for the trade in value of the item.

I imagine they give you a voucher for the price you paid, however long it is sine you bought it (within 2 years).

I took back a year old Xbox controller and got the price I paid back in a voucher.
