This might sound like a silly question, but would it help absorption of the nicotine if you rolled your tongue up slightly in your mouth?
I know some pharmaceuticals are best absorbed by dosing under the tongue and just wondered if nicotine was a suitable candidate.

I didn't know that. I'll give it a try. I've also read breathing some out from your nose too. In other words, coating the pathways, so to speak. That's why it's a bit more like chewing the gum - which is absorbed through your mouth (than smoking which is via the lungs). It's definitely not as immediate a hit as smoking.
