Box Mod / Box battery advice
So ive been vaping for 10 weeks now. Me and the other half switched from roll ups after she needed an op and we did it together.We both love it. She uses the Socialites brand and i have a Kanger battery with a decent head ( bottom fed i believe ) . where as she is happy I really like the look of some of the Box mod and batteries.
I need some advice really on what to buy. I want something which ;
- gives me control
- Let me get a good hit of flavour and smoke
- looks half decent
Ive seen some of the guys on here have really sleek looking ones.
Do i need a better head ?
just after some advice really. I'm currently using both an eleaf istick and the joytech egrip.Both are very good, the egrip has the tank built into the unit so is a nice small size.Gives a really good vape as well.Would easily recommend both. Thanks mccol. Does the tank require new wicks every now and then ? I'm trying to work out this wattage and ohms thing. I have the itaste MVP 2.0 and would highly recommend it. Couple it with a nautilus mini and the bvc coils and its brilliant. The best bet is the Eleaf Istick the MVP used to be the go to box mod for beginners but due to advances is now in my opinion too big and heavy for all day use,it has similar battery life to the Istick but has lower voltage range and weighs twice as much and is bulkier. There are also a lot of mini versions of good mods coming to market soon such as the IPV2 mini which will come in priced around £45 and is a good alternative also. I was initially going to go for the Istick but the reports of it giving out different watts / volts to what it was set too put me off so went for the MVP as its tried tested and noone seems to have a bad word to say about it. To be honest I've never bothered with doing my own wicks etc.I just buy a pack of atomizer heads and change the head every 2-3 weeks.
The MVP2 is a good shout as well, I still have mine in my work tray as a a back up.Gives a good vape and the battery seems to last a good 2 days or more. My MVP is still going strong after 9 months of moderate use. I recently bought the SVD 2.0 though, so it's now my back up device.
The MVP 3 is due for release soon so it might be worth holding out for that. Massive 3800mah battery, 30 watts and it fires down to 0.4. The MVP 20 watt is also a good option and it's quite cheap too.
£29.99 delivered: Innokin MVP 20w Express Kit No such issues here - we have two of them in the house (wife and mine), very consistent performance and the battery life is really really good for the size of the device. I think I'm going to go for the mvp20w express. For 30 quid you can't go wrong. Just need go look at heads now. Am I right in saying that the lower the ohms the better the burn ?
