For 8 of us and we would usually spend around £150 a week on a normal shop so not too bad I guess data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 My christmas food shopping this year cost me £20 and consisted of 36 cans of Magners
Thats the great thing about buggering off to the Sun for Christmas - We'll do the remainer of the food shopping new yrs eve when everything is half price so double bonus //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/clap.gif Wow! Big family (or does that include pets?) Me the wife and 3 kids, sister in law, my mum and her friend. Supply and demand. They take advantage too, for instance dried fruit shot up 50% during October when people start buying cake and pudding ingredients. Even the basic groceries cease to be discounted this time of year. This reminds me that I must go out and buy my 1/2 price xmas Ben & Jerry's supply today from Sainsburys data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Think thats the only reason we went shopping in the first place data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
