So your on death row and the slip of paper arrives with your last meal request. What's it to be?

I'm going for:-
• Chi-yam chicken strips
• A dozen stewed sausages with onion gravy and a stone of mash.
• 10oz Fillet Steak
• Chocolate fudge cake with double cream
• Nice bottle of Malbec

3 x 10oz steaks thank you, 3 x grilled chicken breasts, pepper sauce, creamed spuds, peas.

I'll agree on the chocolate fudge though, but made by the same guy who made my wedding cake (which was also choc fudge).

I would have said Penne alla Vodka until this summer when, while in the west of France on holiday, I went to an Italian restaurant that made good use of the local produce to come up with a substitute: Penne al' Cognac.That, combined with some thick crusty bread was the best dish I have ever had.

Starter is easy:

Salmon Sashimi and Blue Fin Sashimi with some real Wasabi, a good quality Soy Sauce, and pickled ginger.

Main course would me meat that's for sure.Either:

12oz Kobe/Wagyu Steak cooked Medium Rare with triple cooked chips and creamed spinach

or

Pound of 24 hour smoked BBQ Brisket served with fresh corn bread, drunken apples, and garlic mashed potatoes

Desert would be either:

Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter Parfait with some type of berry coulis.

or

Homemade Schlag, just a massive bowl that I would eat till I puked.

Washed down with a nice American Pale Ale microbrew or a good German lager.
