Royal free parking?
Hi all,got to go to the royal free hospital in Hampstead next week.I hate trains and because I will have some times and monitoring devicesattached when I come homewish to be in the privacyof a car.Any one know what the parking us like there? Is it a small number of spacesor a multi story? Thanks. Dave You'll get more views in GC if you want me to move it in there @GalacticaActual ? Not a massive car park.Quite expensive if I remember rightly £3?£4 per hour. What are you like walking? Depending on time you get there you can park in East Heath Road car park(less than 10 minute walk), not sure how much it is but certainly a lot cheaper than the hospital car park. You can park in Agincourt Road, less than 5 minute walk, max four hours I believe, couple of quid per hour. i THINK you can still use cash, I use the RingGo app, which makes it a lot easier as you can top up as and when you need it up to the max. Actually saying that, I havent actually parked in the Hospital for a few years.Just looked at the website :
At the Royal Free Hospital, there are two car parking facilities available for visitors: one located off Pond Street (main hospital entrance) and the other located off Lawn Road (five minutes walk from the main hospital entrance). Pond Street upper level multi-storey car has a height restriction in place, so this car park is not suitable for SUVs, 4X4s, vans or vehicles with roof boxes. Please use the Lawn Road car park.
The Lawn Road one Im sure used to be for staff, so have no idea of the size of it. If I remember correctly, there's a hotel very close by where you can pay to park, I think it's The Premier Inn.
