What earphones do you use for the gym?

I need the get a new pair of earphones for the gym and am torn about getting in-ear or on-ear versions.

I'm leaning towards in ear as I sweat a fair amount in the gym so don't want to ruin them seeing as I may be spending a semi decent amount of money. That said, does anyone here have a particular brand/model they prefer?I tried some cheap Denon in-ear phones recently as I needed a cheap quick pair that day and they really hurt my ears after a few minutes.

Thanks.

Have a search on amazon for soundpeats, i was dubious at the brand/price but I grabbed a pair for little over 16 quid, and was very surprised! Excellent sound bass/clarity and the fact they're Bluetooth and they have ear hooks to keep them in your ears make them ideal for the gym! Battery life is great aswell, well worth a go before you take the plunge on a pricier pair mate.

I had been using an expensive pair of Shure in-ears for the gym, but decided to get a pair of these after seeing these posts. I also wasn't comforable getting my Shure's all sweaty.

Anyway they arrived today and I have to agree for the price they are amazing!

Not that you should be answering calls in the gym or while you are out on a run, but they also have a mic so you could if you wanted to.

I also bought the wife a pair and she loves them as well.

Thanks for the recommendations.

I've got a pair of Jabra Sport Plus which I got for Christmas. Half decent wireless headphones which I prefer whilst in the gym as having a wire getting in the way whilst lifting or doing cardio annoys me too much.

They're not the best and sometimes the signal drops out for a second or so but they come with a bunch of different size ear pieces to fit. I do mainly listen to podcasts whilst in the gym but when I switch to music they are tolerable.

May be a bit pricey if you're on a budget.

I like the looks of those Soundpeats, but I probably shouldn't be buying yet another pair of earphones! I currently use Bose in-ear's at the moment which I love, but I get fed up with the cabling down my top, it always feels awkward. I might give the Soundpeats a go at that price though.

I really can't fault them!
I've used them quite a few times now and the connection has been rock solid. I've left my phone on the floor where I'm working out and even walked 10-15m away to fill my water bottle and they have remainedconnected.

There is even voice instructions informing you of their status.

I have no idea how these can be manufactured for £16 let alone sold for that. Just goes to show you the profit margins in headphones, which I know Beats have been exposed on recently!

They sound great for the gym in that case then as I can just pop my iPod in the bottle holder on the machines and won't need to wear it in an armband which I do at the moment and hate.
The Amazon pictures don't show any buttons though, is there any way to skip tracks, play, pause, etc with them?

Also have a pair of the soundpeats. Excellent value for money.

Yes you can pause and skip tracks, even (though I can't think you'd ever need to) answer a phone call on two separate phones and conference them all together?
