Which Cyclocross?

I've got a 29 mile roundtrip commute, and I'm going to keep off the road as much as possible - because the roads are busy, condition is often bad, they are hilly and stressful!

So I'm thinking Cyclocross

so far I've considered...
http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBOOPICKCX1/on-one-pickenflick-sram-cx1-cyclocross-bike

and
http://www.pedalon.co.uk/acatalog/trek-boone-5-disc-2015.html
http://www.pedalon.co.uk/acatalog/trek-boone-7-2015.html

The boone 5 mentions it has eyelets for mudguards, but I don't believe the pickenflick does and the boone 7 doesn't mention it.

The deal with the trek boone's appeal, 0% finance   accessories thrown in - however i'm not wholly taken by the paint job.

I really like the pickenflick but have been put off it by lack of eyelets.

any suggestions, other CX to consider?

when you say off the road, are they gravel tracks, mud?
I'm not a CX expert by the way data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
if it was mainly tarmac but just B roads you could go road bike with larger wet weather tyres
you will want mudguards either way. it wont be a problem getting a clip on guard for the rear of the planet x, not sure about the front though

Hey Dan! How's the bike, after all this time? Did you manage to find a set of mudguards that would fit - maybe the SKS Race Blade? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Haha, a cyclist after my own heart! Although the last couple of days have been disarmingly dry (during the day anyway), so I'm starting to run out of excuses...

I am yet to see the sun data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I joined the gym again so I have something to keep me from getting fat.
