Nah, I've spent plenty of time in Italy and tried a few there.
Still not great.
They are what they are.

A good pizza is hard to find, luckily I have one 5 mins from the house, not cheap and only go once every 2 months or so. But it is lush and not good for you (calories wise).data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I used to enjoy the **** pizza we have here until I went to Chicago. I've been there 4 times in the last 5 years and have never bought a pizza in the UK since I first went.
Chicago Pizza is a whole new foodstuff.

Our local Dominos has a pretty much perpetual 'any pizza for £10' offer on, with a big sign outside (not always mentioned on the web). They are very competitive with the Papa John's two doors down.We get a couple in once every few months if we've come back too late to cook.
Edit: Looks like it's a bogof week currently so a bit better than that.
Also, pizzas are great - no where near as low down as roasts data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Both Dominos and PJ's do two medium pizzas, garlic, bread, wedges and bottle of drink for £20.Pretty sure its all week round usually what me and the wife for on the rare occasions we get pizza.
On a side note I prefer Pizza Express from supermarkets as opposed to the restaurants.

I haven't paid full price for Dominos pizza for years, no need to be on social media either. A quick google will usually turn up all manner of codes for anywhere between 20% and 50% off.
A few years ago we had a load of mates round and decided to phone them rather than order online, when asked if we had a voucher we just said yes, 50% off. The driver never asked for it and that was that.

I'm struggling with someone referring to a Dominos pizza as 'down and dirty fodder' at those prices!
We buy the odd one, if there is an offer on. There nearly always is one on so why they don't just lower the prices to a sane level is beyond me. Papa John's is another one.
I know someone who used to have a pizza & kebab shop. He packed it in when it cost more than a quid to make a large pizza. This wasn't a franchise so he didn't have the overheads etc.
