Bacon actually cooks really well in a hot over, although I think I'd cook it next to the pizza and add it after.

Chicken I find always tastes weird on pizza even though I like chicken, something about reheating cooked chicken in an over.

The only thing bacon doesn't improve the flavour of is bacon, but it does mean you have more bacon so it's still a win.
