Mash, yup just Mash

Well we be bits...ish   how do you like your mash. Virgin only or add some Mash up porn to the mix .

For us.

Spuds , Piper.
Real salted butter.
Tad of milk.
Salt& pepper.
Grated Parmesan.
Mustered Powder .

Also add chives sometimes. Great all round mash and yum yum on Shepherd pie.

Add some great snorkerspeas and onion gravy to this mash and piggy comfortheaven.

Just potatoes mashed for a bit to ensure there are no bits then some skimmed milk, and that is yer lot.

Spuds from the farm up the road, copious amounts of kerrymaid, mashed to a smooth consistency then a dash of milk before mixing vigorously with a spoon. Anything else is sacrilege (excluding scallions).

Forgotto add i rice it straight on to the shepherds pie then dot with butter gets nice crispy bits.

Not too particular about the potatoes, as long as they're not overly floury. I use a handheld electric mixer, and about a cup of mixed milk and butter, plus salt to taste. Heat up the milk and butter first, seems to make it even creamier.

Good call , we do the same sometimes with our shepherd pie. The sauce in the mince also rises up through the air pockets in the mash, yum yum.
