Oddly, I own a bakery, but having owned a local pub in the past and being a chef all my life I still get requests for strange things like curry night in the village hall etc, keep things varied I guess, did weddings christenings and all sorts last year!!!

We are the bakery that does more or less anything and everything

Same here in a weird way. My mum and dad used to own the local pub(28years ago)and I’d help out behind bar and cooking etc. Any village function, it seems like I’m in the first batch of people that get asked to sort the bar out or cook chilli for 75 or village fete/party bbq’s. It’s something you obviously get used to and I enjoy it. But also hilarious when someone else volunteers to do the Bbq(my favourite vocation) and they have no idea how to even light 2 50gal drum bbqs without a case of lighter fluid, let alone what to buy, where to buy it, and Hardly a clue how to cook it. One year they even forgot to but charcoal.
