I love my vivoactive2 for everything except size/style and it can't be used with music. Yep, Vivoactive 3 Music supports Spotify sync. Same with 645, 945 etc.

Also currently £199 on amazon, presumably following release of 245 and 945. I have Prime music and listen to podcasts mostly. I think for me to get those features is pretty much an apple watch only...or just carry my phone. I'm sure Garmin will eventually release updates or apps for connection to other music sources, but at the moment, yes - looks like apple watch is the best match for your requirements.
