Pineapple?! I'll be truly impressed if you grow that in the UK climate!

Mine is coming along slowly this year. The tomatoes didn't like the soil I made, but they've adapted now and starting to go. Most have fruit, which is actually too early tbh given their size and all. The courgette took off (oh dear!) and the spuds are going like troopers and need to mounded more.

I seem to remember you posting a pic with the seed in a glass? I tried the same thing but my avocado attempt failed.

Give it another go. I have another two stones growing now.

We rarely buy them but next time I'll give it another shot.

3 cocktail sticks and straight in water. It can take a few weeks before it does anything. Peel the skin off the stone first.

Ah, I didn't peel it. Next time.

Small, but well managed garden! I am living in a flat so my possibilities are smaller than yours, but I have many plants indoor that I grow. Of course on balcony I have tomatoes, but inside I have got many different herbs, lettuce, radish, ruccola, onion, pepper and 2 citrus trees! Next year I am starting to build my house, so I plan to have a big garden here!
