LED tape lighting

Hi

I'm looking to light a display cabinet with 3 lengths (each around 80cm) of white LED's (7.2W per metre) Looking for an elegant way to run the power to each length of tape mounted under the cabinet shelves. Thinking about using self adhesive copper tape to produce a very thin "bus-bar" down the corner of the cabinet.

I know this approach is used in dolls houses, anyone tried it on a bigger scale?

Kind regards
Cessna

There's no reason why it wouldn't work, provided that the copper tape has adequate current rating. 6 Watts at 12 volts is 0.5 Amperes.
