I didnt have a new meter installed it just goes both ways anyway. Yes you need an inverter but that is before the meter.

At first I just want to keep it simple.So, probably keep it small scale and not mentioned to the authorities.(french).

Then, have a completley separate system for the power generated, which should reduce the need for too much accuracy in the voltage and cycle rate.So, if you envisage a small generator that supplies nothing but a 1KW rated heat exchanger, that can then pump 3 KW of warm air into the house 24/7.

If that is succesful, then maybe think of an upgrade.The first bit is to find something that can easily be placed in a stream to generate electricity.Thanks for all the interest, btw
