I know it's not £499 but how much is the electrician charging for fitting? I am just saying in my case the pay back would be too long.
How much are you paying now for heating your water? In your case it may be worth your while but without data we won't know.

Hi there,
Electrician fitting would probably cost around 8 or 10 bucks and depends on the person. The cost of gas it works around £146 per year and the cost of immersion heater is £160. With SolarImmersion, energy cost is expected to come down by 15% around £120.

I don't know if you are still looking for feedback and are still planning on installing EUFH, but if it helps I've got a Thermonet Thermofoil system in my garage office (room above a detached double garage). It was simple to install under my engineered oak flooring, and is quick to heat up too (you can feel the floor warming up just a few minutes after switching it on).
