Well there is your key, meat quality in the UK is generally sh*t in my opinion. The demand from the public for a good quality product just doesn't seem to be there (in general). As long as it is cheap, hot and a lot people are (in general) satisfied.
Ultimately I prefer Shawarma of Doner and Gyros as a style of gooding. But definitely has to be lamb, my god you won't find pork in Turkey so why eat it here?
Because it tastes amazing and in Greece, pork is the most popular Gyro meat.Sucks for Turkey is all I'm saying, it's amazing.
