Trump failed to include Hancock's constituency town of Haverhill on his recent list of sh*tholes. So I've just mildly taken the mick on Hancock's app post about visiting a school there tomorrow on some Google sponsored digital skills junket.
It is truly a sh*thole - I know it well, hailing from a nearby town, and being forced to work there for a while when my global employer happened to send me to a tiny subsidiary there, staying at a Days Inn which was clearly modelled on the Linton Travel Tavern. The natives regard it as a sh*thole too. All I got was sympathy every night at the pub by the hotel.
Anything ever said from Diane Abbot- placing her on tv, the news, the radio, in the media in the public eye....

Just watching the Marr show, and they had John McDonnell on.They were talking about various things, and touched on fishermen.
McDonnell called them fisherpersons.Fisherpersons???

In my dictionary, a fisherman is a person who catches fish for a living or sport.No need to remove the man / men to make it apply to both sexes.
I don't believe John McDonnell is particularly au fait with current supposedly PC terms, and was deliberately/desperately seeking some sort of cred. It's very much about appearances with him, as you might have caught him on some photo opportunity at a primary school during the week trying to appear down with the (very young) kids but then fudges up with a quick stare at the camera to check they're getting it.
I'm sure fisherman and etymologically similar job titles are unisex / gender neutral in most peoples' dictionaries.
Just learned from clip below that failed Lib Dem and former Cheeky Boy, Lembit Öpik, is now part of this fruitcake space cult ("Head of Asgardian Parliament")...
