I get it. The names you mentioned are well known, with huge social media prominence (rather than famous to Joe Bloggs next door, unless he's some angry 30incel on 4chan, living with his parents), so probably why they were quickly banned.

I explained my problem with the term "gays" on the Corbyn thread.
The lack of balance and equality in the decisions of the Government to allow or ban certain individuals from entering the UK is a worry to me too.

So why does my best male mate in his mid 50’s proudly tell people he is gay? Why do my other gay friends describe themselves with pride that way?

The issue was with grouping people together and labelling them “Gays”, in a similar way that someone may find calling a group of Jewish people “Jews”.I don’t think the issue is with the term “Gay”.
