Has Labour withdrawn the whip from Vaz?
Or is he still using it?
We'll have to see how Vaz fares in the General Election. Though even if he wins, I suspect he'll still be facing a recall petition at some point.
there was a time when he was untouchable in Leicester - not sure how that's held up since all this came out though..

from the tone of his 'base' I heard talking on the radio, they sadly appear disgusted about the gay stuff rather than drugs and corruption

He might not even get to stand, Kate Green (Labour MP I think) is pushing for his suspension to be sorted before Parliament is dissolved -

I'm not sure if being suspended from Parliament would automatically bar him from standing for election or not.
