We'll have to see how Vaz fares in the General Election. Though even if he wins, I suspect he'll still be facing a recall petition at some point.

He might not even get to stand, Kate Green (Labour MP I think) is pushing for his suspension to be sorted before Parliament is dissolved -

I'm not sure if being suspended from Parliament would automatically bar him from standing for election or not.
