I only met the guys I play with through a guitar class though, but our drummer was too unreliable. I fancy treating myself to one of the Roland or Yamaha electronic kits...you wouldn't have thought I'd have time to practice guitar and drums, but I only come on AVforums once a day for a quick scan instead of spending hours reading (and posting). It's surprising how much time that has freed up. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7....funny you mention steering wheels....mine sounds really good when tapping with the fingers.....really annoys the kids which is an added bonus!
seen some really nice kits on the bay Yea that never fades. I can remember the lengths i used to go to to learn something that i had listen too and even resorted to tapping my hands and feet in unison while i was in bed.(before i fell asleep) Yea steering wheels are fantastic, its amazing how your right hand can make a good bass sound and your left can make a great snare sound in the car. The dashboard always produces a great high end audio sound, like a stewart copeland snare drum. not tried the dashboard
....perhaps dragons den is calling
