For those of you who don't know him, he's the author of I Am Legend, which I was fortunate to read recently.Not to be confused with the Will Smith movie (its tone is different, as is the overall story although unlike many I loved the film), this book is timeless.

A masterpiece of literature (imho) with taut, efficient writing and a gripping plot, amazingly I Am Legend still feels fresh today.Aside from the occasional old fashioned references, you would never believe this was written in 1954 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I did not know of his work, but that's a reflection on me, not the author. Sad to see anyone go.
