Which Is The Best History Mag & Are They Worth It?
I been a extremely long time reader of a PC Gamer mag but now I really don't play that many different games now so thinking of cancelling my sub. But I'm interested in history and don't know if to sub to a mag on the subject or just buy books on the subject. 77 looks so far and no answers.Does anyone read History mag and enjoy it if so which? I think the issue is that History encompasses a lot, it may be best to specify what periods of history you are interested in.

The above looks ok, although i would be tempted to say "Thats you, that is" whilst reading it. I used to collect, many years ago, a monthly part work series called Images of War, which was very good value. It focused on the 2nd World war from inception to its end and each issue would come with a reproduction newspaper of the week that the part work was focussing on that month. The History mags I was looking at covers a wide area in each issue I not seen that one you mention. I was looking at 3 and just realised 2 or by the BBC
