Recommend cheap but effective dual view dashcam
Our son is learning to drive at the minute and we're pretty confident he'll pass on his first or seconf attempt. Maybe 3rd. Anyway, he'll be getting his own car and having a "black box" fitted for insurance purposes. But his mum and I want to get him a dashcam to make things even easier for him. It would need to be dual front/rear view, decent record/playback quality especially at night time, preferably motion activated when parked. The more reputable Chinese websites, like Gearbest, offer a good range at varying prices. But never having had one of these, nor anyone we know having one, we're not sure what to go for. So maybe you, the fine upstanding memvbers of AV Forums, can point us in the right direction? how much are you wanting to spend? Well "cheap" is the wrong word. Maybe "affordable" would have been better. We don't have a set budget, so the best value for money I suppose. The Techmoan guy reviewed a front and back camera set the other day. Saw that and was just thinking the same, it was £99 and looked very good. Looks to be out of stock at Amazon UK.
