If you are only fitting 2 at a time, start with the driving wheels data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Had them done last year. So plenty of tread

Yes, so I'm suggesting you move them to the back and put the crossclimates at the back.

FWIW in my limited test drive I found them better in the snow than the Pilots on the other car but they weren't cemented to the road.Wear on the Mini hasn't been excessive but I haven't checked mileage and wear carefully.
And yes you definitely want them on the driven wheels, there's not a lot of point having good snow traction on the undriven wheels as you'll never get moving data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

As it turned out the first 2 miles to the A47 were a bit unpleasant - drifted snow closing down 2 lanes to 1 and impacted snow and ice on the carriageway meant little grip in the Golf.I did have a little laugh at an RX7 who pulled off the A47 onto the B road from my village. He spun his wheels a bit, looked a bit panicked and then reversed BACK INTO THE MAIN ROAD which was gritted and had traffic doing the usual50mph.Then he pulled away in front of traffic waiting to leave the B road.
Still he didn't die so we're all good data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
After I got the A47 the A11, A14, A1 and A19 were all cleared and gritted - the worst weather was in Norfolk.

On the flip side here's my petrol head mate in his souped up 924 with Pirelli snow control 2 all around. It gets hairier around 9 min in.His village was closed off by the police as the roads were impassable that evening.
