And I think acting like one tells me everything I need to know about you.

I'm just wondering who gets the last word here, you or me.
Seems like me.

Found out our old Cat C C2 VTS is still on the road which was a surprise considering the damage.

Fair enough, it just set off alarm bells for me.

People who joined the site in 2006 are just a bunch of noobs!

Wish I could remember numberplates for cars I've had!
As soon as I get them, they're on the private plate.
I haven't the foggiest what any of their actual registrations were...data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Just out of interest, when you transfer a private plate from your car, does the car number plate revert to the one originally given to it at first registration in the UK or does it get a brand new number?

Graham.

It will usually return to the original plate but sometimes a new one of the correct age is issued.

FZR400RRSP Publish time 24-11-2019 23:46:46

99% of the time, the original plate.
It would only get allocated another plate if someone else bought the original plate when it was sitting unallocated to a vehicle.
