Changing battery 2011 Vauxhall meriva

how is the old battery removed ?
I’m used to just disconnecting positive and negative removing and replacing but looking at this battery it has some cover with various wires running from it and out of it and can’t seem to see how to remove this

Firstly, make sure you have the radio code or you will lose your radio when disconnecting the battery.

You should have 2 thick red wires, one going to the battery terminal, one going to the cluster of wires.

Flip up the plastic cover that fits over the red wires then disconnect the battery earth wire and move it out of the way.
Next, disconnect the thick red wire going to the cluster of wires.
Next, disconnect the thick red wire that goes onto the battery and lift it out of the way.
Next, undo the clamp holding the battery in place and remove it.
Next, lift up the cluster of wires a little...there may be a plastic fitting over the positive terminal...then slide the battery away from the cluster and tilt it away from the cluster leaving the cluster more or less where it was and remove the battery.
Refit in reverse order.
