Juke nismo rs auto
HiJust seeing if any members own or owned the juke nismo rs auto, half looking at one and looking for some real world feedback Didn't have the Nismo but the juke itself was one of the worse cars I've ever driven/own. Wife had one for 3 years and couldn't wait to get shot of it. Plastic internals were awful, gutless engine (obviously different to the Nismo), didn't like the driving position. Various warranty issues we had (all fixed under warranty but in and out the garage over 3 years). Fairly cramped inside I felt.
Always seemed an odd car to me - handed out everywhere on motability then they stick a 215bhp petrol engine in it for Nismo..... Just my opinion of course. Horrible car, totally impractical.
If you want something with a sporty setup that shares the same engine, I have a Renault Clio 220 Trophy that ticks all the boxes - pootling around town, cruising on A roads, blasting down B roads and the odd track day!
All depends what you're after I suppose? Thanks for for your opinion and reviews
@Micah you mention its a horrible car. Have you owned it? Not personally, but I have a friend who was a master tech at Nissan for 15 years. Never rated them, and another friend bought one, only to find they couldn't even get their newborn's pushchair in the boot!
I found them quite intriguing at first, being a petrol head the Nismo badge grabbed my attention. I find them quite an odd concept now, but as I said, it all depends what you're after. I'd recommend test driving one, and if you like it, then why not? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Had a non RS for 2 years. Would avoid the auto CVT at all costs. Not very practical as mentioned already, boot floor space is tiny and rear isn't big enough for car seats with tall front passengers.
The non RS couldn't take the power and the brakes were shocking at high speed. The RS was meant to address this with bigger brakes and a LSD.
Not a bad car overall, partner enjoyed it but after 2 years I picked it apart and wouldn't have another. The misses had one for 3 years, and I completely echo this Hi all
Thanks for the replys. Looks like every one is echoing the same things you may have all saved me making a mistake. If you’re looking for pseudo suv then perhaps a Countryman either in Cooper S or D?
I have a 2011 boggo one and it’s an absolute hoot to drive and is fairly practical etc.
