What would you do, no tax mot or insurance.

There's a car parked in the street I live. I've checked, its mot ran out in March, tax and insurance the same. It is declared sorn but its still parked on the road. Its been parked up for 4 months now. Should I report it and to whom.

This, but you may have to re-report if nothing happens in 2 weeks time.

Not a Police matter, report to the DVLA for untaxed vehicles.

nvingo Publish time 24-11-2019 22:24:53

Untaxed only maybe, but this one is no MOT and uninsured on the highway, so could also be Police matter.

bubs999 Publish time 24-11-2019 22:24:53

Needs to be driven on a road for it to be Police matter. Far too much other stuff going on to deal with all parked cars with no MOT or insurance

Sorn stands for Statory of road notification. The vehicule is still on the public highway, therefore should be taxed, Mot and insured.
As above, notify DVLA and have a chat with someone on 101.

A good starting point, at least they should be able to tell you who to call or pass it on themselves.
