Ben Stokes' astonishing 135 not out repeated his World Cup heroics and gave England one of their greatest victories to keep the Ashes series alive. EDITH COWAN, ROD "ROCKET" LAVER, DAME EDNA EVERAGE, RUPERT MURDOCH, PAUL HOGAN, SKIPPY THE BUSH KANGAROO, AC/DC, DENNIS LILLEE, JOHN HOWARD, OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN, HAROLD BISHOP OFF NEIGHBOURS, ERROL FLYNN, JASON DONOVAN, NICOLE KIDMAN, JULIAN ASSANGE, NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS and NATALIE IMBRUGLIA, you will be "torn" tonight because your cricketers took one HELL of a beating... //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/clap.gif Just seen the fumble by Lyon, that is incredible. Waiting for the Sky highlights programme.
In Australia it will be renamed the 'lowlights'. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Football? Pah!
Cricket? Greatest game in the world!data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but the Aussies are still 1-1.
Never mind, momentum and belief can take you a long way in any sport. I still think England have work to do in the batting, but enjoy tonight! Yes, but that's better than being 2-0 and no chance of winning. If this doesn't give England confidence batting nothing will. I'm watching a third highlights package now.
It really is utterly amazing.
With 73 runs needed and ONLY Stokes and the number eleven in, the game was surely done.
Ben Stokes, what a hero! It is. Second half and 0-2 down a few fans were following the test on their phones!
