Well done to Bangladesh for making it to the semi's - great tournament from them & their cricketing has come a long way - they can no longer be taken as lightly as they have been in the past imo - hope they continue to improve.
Easy win for India though - bit of a mauling tbh at 265 for 1 but having said that, the Indian bowling still looks a little shaky to me.
Mother of all finals coming up - India vs Pakistan - probably the biggest rivalry in sport. I wonder how it will play out. Pakistan were beyond awful at the start but they were excellent in their last game so nothing can be taken for granted.
India got the gremlins out of the way with their loss to Sri Lanka & have always beaten Pakistan in big tournament matches for more than the last decade.
I think Pakistan play really well if they are able to restrict a batting side to below 280 but anything above that or say 320/340, they seem to fall apart. India are very good chasers & can chase 300targets but they have to ensure they score a 320/340total.
With the exception of the last match, I still think that Pakistan's batting sucks but India's bowling for some reason is still average at this level. Same old story I guess!
These pitches seem to offer very little to the spinners so it will be interesting to see what bowling selections are made by both teams.

Great first win for Root that. Brilliant performance from Moeen, 90 odd runs and 10 wickets.
