Indie vigilante thriller shot in Pennsylvania
ANGEL OF RECKONING is one of those ultra-cheap indie thrillers, this time shot on the streets of Pennysylvania. It's about a maladjusted young woman, grieving for the sudden loss of a family member, who decides to go gunning for revenge against those she holds responsible. The rest of the cast is populated by the usual scummy characters including pornographers and drug dealers and various criminal types. There are more resources here than in some indie films, with plenty of scene changes for example, and some titillation, but the usual problems involving bad acting and a general lack of suspense and cohesion.score 3/10
