Open wide... again!
'The Dentist' was pretty much a series of (okay and better) bloody scenes, but in this one Yuzna tries to build things up more, more like a thriller (although it starts out with a pretty nasty drill scene!). Here, Dr. Feinstone escapes and goes native. Unfortunately, the build-up isn't all that exciting.But after that long while it turns out that Bernsen worked on his delivery and Yuzna on the funny-sadistic lines of Feinstone. So, more humor enters, but also the gore is turned up quite a bit - just in time. Just don't try to look for too much logic in there, and it'll be fine.
Fairly boring parts ánd exciting horror stuff considered, I can appreciate this one as much as I did the first.
