"I'm not in the right and wrong business"

I had seen Stone Cold (2005) before and enjoyed it. I decided to watch the entire series and a quick search informed me there was a prequel. So I started my Jesse Stone journey with Night Passage (2006). Just as I remembered, these films are quite slow paced, brooding and often predictable but very easy to get into. Just what I was needing. Tom Selleck isn't wowing us with his performances either. In fact, he's just playing himself really, but that's okay. Selleck is likeable and perfectly believable as the troubled but charming and alcoholic small town police chief.

I really enjoyed Night Passage because it's especially moody and oozes attitude.

???? Tormented Jesse = best Jesse.
???? Boomer was great.
???? "First" introduction to the cast.
???? Stephen Baldwin.
???? Stephen Baldwin being Stephen Baldwin..
