SciFi Once Again Misses The Mark Completely
It quite sad really, or maybe really annoying if you consider the vast amounts of money SciFi spends on "oriignal" programming, but most of what they do is unwatchable.Dresden Files is yet another victim of the SciFi treatment.
Someone at SciFi doesn't like well-made shows and Dresden Files is the latest victim. The camera is hand-held 100% of the time, a technique that is very powerful, but only if used appropriately. Used all the time, it is just tiring and I could not make it to the end of a single show.
Paul Blackthorne seems to be a good actor, but he is ill-served by abysmal dialogue and the supporting cast is either badly cast, badly directed and/or just plain bad.
Overall, while not as awful as Shakystar Crapotica, it's still not watchable enough to hold an audience's attention.
