Hey, it's Hitler
In Japan, a group of boys follows a falling satellite into the woods. They find a rocket and aliens chasing them. They are saved by Space Chief. Meanwhile, scientists are tracking an unusual electronic wave which is effecting machines on the ground. It's the start of an alien invasion from Neptune. Scientists build an electro barrier against the alien ships.I've seen worst. I've seen a lot worst. In fact, this is good when compared to most 50's American sci-fi B-movie. It's innocent fun and not a lot of stuffy acting. Lots of miniatures get blown up real good. The story is simple fun alien invasion. I actually like the kids. I'm sure that I've seen the alien helmets before. It's a fun design. After reading the trivia section, I was watching very carefully for a fleeting glimpse of a Hitler poster. In fact, it's an explosion of a miniature building with a giant Hitler billboard. There is no way that it's an accidental stock footage from the war. It's huge. It's a deliberate blowing up of Hitler. Apparently, there is some recycling from another war movie. That's expected especially from that era with this level. The only problem is the terribly stiff Space Chief. He needs to be more active and more charismatic.
