Great new show following an elite group of Air Force PJs
This show really hits home for anyone who knows or ha ever known a serviceman or civilian serving in the Middle East. The show follows an elite group of Air Force PJs, based on Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan, going on rescue missions to save servicemen and civilians during wartime. The show is an emotional roller coaster...I laughed and cried multiple times during both aired episodes, so far. The stories that are shown are raw and real. The "stars" of the show do an excellent job describing the emotional toil war has on them, while still remaining the strong heroes they are. This show has made my respect for servicemen grow even more (and I have a lot of respect for them to begin with). I have met servicemen (my parents both served in the Marine Corps and Army and I worked as a contractor) and heard stories of war, but this show really brings home what goes on over there. After watching the first episode I felt emotionally drained and slightly traumatized. Then, I realized, if this is the way I feel I can only imagine how those living through this feel on a daily basis; yet, they continue to fight and even have the desire to continue doing what they do (saving lives). I am so grateful for all servicemen and would like to say a huge THANK YOU for finally allowing those of us at home witness what is so often sacrificed overseas.score 10/10
