I guess the star had bills to pay?
The plot is a rehash of all the cheap science fiction films you have already seen.The moonbase, ships and everything modelled look like models. The interior shots look like industrial kitchens.
Acting is not bad, script, dialogue and story are bad.
When anyone is killed in an airlock, a can of tomato soup is thrown at the window. Or it might be chopped tomato? And that's the biggest mystery in the film.
Give it a miss.
