fairly good film
I don't know why this film got such bad reviews on IMDb. I'm becoming a big fan of Kate Beckinsale and this project is a natural progression in her career. I first saw her in 'much ado about nothing'.the movie is about little people but is most definitely not patronizing. it shows a variety of life situations and problems they face, from social to medical to how to get laid. it really was a realistic film and thas what I look for, PLAUSIBILITY, regardless of the genre.
don't be afraid of the R rating, there isn't any nudity and just a bit of the f word here and there. I'm not surprised it won an award at sundance, regardless of how many people walked out. maybe they couldn't face such a challenge to their stereotypes of little people.
