A refreshing true to life story about real people
This is one of the best films of the year. How great it is to see a film like this with characters that are real people. They speak like real people. And they make mistakes like real people do. Thanks to an amazingly tight well written script by Amy fox (based on her play) and some of the best acting I've seen in quite a while (this marks the return of Glenn Close as an amazing actress), this film doesn't disappoint for one second of its running time. It is an emotional drama that really packs a punch in its final act. There isn't a scene that feels out of place in this film. It's quite a solid film and director Chris Terrio has a great future ahead of him.
