good movie
This movie was good to me because I cared what happened to the main character, Carrie. And, this is usually a sign that a film was well written and acted. However...the young male actors in this film, and a plethora of other ones, these days, continue to believe that they do not have to make themselves clear. That is, they are sloppy about pronunciation and enunciation. English (and in this one, Irish) actors and stage players seem to understand the concept of speaking slowly and clearly so that the audience does not have to guess at the dialogue.Where is the training of actors in this regard? Do young people think it is "in" or cool to speak as though they had a mouth full of rocks?
