What a promising first film for this new independent British film company ????

The opening forest shots were beautiful. I loved the 'burning man' opener - great special effects that you wouldn't want to watch whilst eating your dinner ???? ????

Loved the performances - Rory Wilton as the groundsman, doesn't even have to speak to portray menace. Ian Champion as Father Saxon was fab, he has a voice for horror! Emma Spurgin as Mrs March - only critic is I would have liked to have seen more of her.

Loved the performances from the younger cast members and I really look forward to seeing more of them in future films.

The bedroom scene was done very well. It wasn't gratuitous and the relationship was portrayed realistically without falling back on dated stereotypes. This was a step forward for film.

It is an impressive first offering from this new film company and I look forward to seeing more future projects.

If you want to support home grown talent go watch Sacrilege.

score 9/10
