I recognize that this isn't real life, but still...

There were dull, slippery moments, but overall the cast was believable (and especially Pike's dog! Too cute!).

Perhaps it is unrealistic that a whole town is accepting of homosexuality, let alone a rural town in Montana, but it is nice to dream sometimes that, someday, we will see something like that in real life, albeit not now. I've seen too much reality to be fooled by this movie, but it is refreshing to me.

Pike is quiet, shy, and it does get on one's nerves at times, but I see some of myself in him; I am known to be shy and a bit reclusive, but I admit that I am a bit more outgoing than Pike... I think it was really sweet of him to cook for Henry and his grandfather... and not only their relationship, but I'm pleased to see all of the people getting along so well. They're all so eager to please each other. Unrealistic? Yes, but it seems like a paradise, however far removed from reality.
