Veeram - Only for die-hard Thala fans
Started as an action packed re-script of Vaanathaipola is just another masala flick made for the star's wide fan base. The movie has good number of slap-sticks from Santhanam and Thambiramaiyya for laughs. I personally enjoyed action scene at the metro and few action sequences near the climax (but not the climax IMO).Contrast to the above positives, I found the movie hard to watch due to over-hyped action/stunt scenes. The repetitive screenplay and highly predictive massy script was a pain in the neck. The bottom line : a mass entertainer filled with action, comedy and sentiments but nothing new.
