Mass Entertainer that brings in the festive mood for Pongal ahead of its time...
Ajith as Vinayagam shines in every glimpse with extraordinary screen presence & charisma. The story (though not new) is tailor made with all the necessary elements of a commercial entertainer. Will be an enjoyable watch for the whole family.Ajith fans would love to see their man with village makeover that aptly suits him on every frame. Oh man.. the dialogues were awesome... feels more like a real life experience. Ajithkumar being a hero in real life too, makes those dialogues more meaningful.
The sentiment scenes in the second half of the movie may seem redundant, but still watchable... as it is well matched up with excellent performances from Nasser, Thamanna & rest of the crew.
Overall a nice family entertainer that will be a sure shot blockbuster for this festive season...
