Dysfunctionality at its funniest
This movie has this quite rare, definitely not mainstream vibe to it. Following in the footsteps of movies like "Garden State" or "Beautiful Girls", it tells of the amazing journey that people sometimes take when they revisit their childhood life.In this case, the turmoil revolve about a totally dysfunctional family, where the lack of respect and acceptance makes for some of the funniest quotes I've had the pleasure to hear and laugh to!!
A really unexpected treat, I loved how Michael Clancy plays that neurotic line in such a subtle gamma of characters and personalities: the true mark of a people's lover movie. Amazing job, and I look forward to the next one.
