Amazing
This show is honestly terrific and has many needed themes that need to be portrayed in modern television. It's a roller-coaster of a show, before the 10 minute mark we have a make-out scene and a triple homicide. That is the opposite of boring. It's clear the actors put so much effort into bringing their characters to life. This cast deserves more seasons to come. The kinds of themes include internalized homophobia, gang violence, pedophilia, the foster care system, corruption in the system, and so much more. It challenges stereotypes not just for the LGBT community, but also people of color, parenting, and what a criminal looks like. It's not just intense, but intriguing. We see a million crime shows that all seem to be the same, and this show provides something refreshing and new to the table. 10/10 recommend.score 10/10
