A tragic Korean tale that shows the Japanese occupancy in South Korea in the early-mid 1900s.
This is one of the most tear-jerking, and brilliantly written pieces of writing I've ever seen. Not only does the story provide historical information on how poorly the Koreans were treated back in the 1900s, but they somehow successfully managed to make a purely tragic tale into an exciting one that people can really enjoy. Easily one of the greatest shows I've ever seen, not only out of Korean dramas, but in the world. During the entire drama, I was never left scratching my head, questioning what happened to the ___, or why does ___ happen, that made no sense. Each little detail was weaved into the bigger scheme of the plot and all in all by the end, the story was perfect. 10/10 Masterpiece, easily.score 10/10
